Ensembles

All students are encouraged to attend the Ensembles. Guitar players will have the opportunity to play tunes with bass and drum students as well as other guitarists. Instructors will be on hand to coach and play along. All students will have a chance to develop their skills on a wide variety of tunes, play in a band environment, study comping, rhythm and groove concepts as well as communicate your ideas with other players.

Ensemble classes typically consist of 2 to 4 guitar players, and are open to all instruments. Classes are ongoing, so you can signup at any time.

All groups will perform and record a show!

Open Sessions

One of RMI’s Instructors will be available each Monday, Wednesday and Friday for an open session. These informal lessons give students a chance ask questions, play or simply hang-out and listen in. Available to all students.

Private Lessons

6 days a week RMI has a wide range of instructors, specializing in all styles. Visit the instructor profile section for more information.

Lessons are ½ hr (30min) or 1 hr. The one on one format is good for custom tailoring a program around your needs. Many students prefer a ½ hr private and a 1 hr Ensemble per week, to fulfill a well rounded approach.

Come in for a Free Evaluation and placement, to ensure that you get together with the instructor(s) that best fit your needs, styles and availability.
