Music Biz Poster (Small) Roberts Music Institute welcomes music industry veteran, Christopher Knab, for a music business workshop.

You will learn:

• How to record and prepare your music for CD & digital release.

• How and where to find your fans and customers.

• How to work with distributors, retailers, radio and live performance venues.

• How to use the internet and social media to market and promote your music.

 

About Christopher Knab:

Owner of FourFront Media and Music, a Seattle-based music business consultation service, Christopher is a former Station Manager of Seattle’s alternative radio station KCMU (now KEXP 90.3FM), and cofounder and VP of 80’s new wave/punk rock label 415/Columbia Records. He was on the faculty of the Music Business and Audio Production programs at the Art Institute of Seattle from 1988-2005, and is co-author of “Music Is Your Business: The Musician’s Four Front Marketing and Legal Guide,” now in its 4th Edition.
